11th April 2009, Sydney: It is with deep regret we announce the death of our member ( G.O.A NSW Inc.) Cliff Carrasco. Dearly loved husband of Myrtle, loved dad of Neil and Colin, father-in-law of Katie. Cliff Will be sadly missed by all his relatives and friends.
The funeral services will held at St John the Evangelist, Catholic Church, Campbelltown, Corner of Cordeaux Street and Lindesay Street,NSW Australia. Funeral will be held on 17th April 2009 at 10.30am

10th November 2008, Sydney: It is with deep regret we announce the death of our member and former President of the G.O.A NSW Inc. George E Pereira. Husband of the late Sheila (nee Correa) Mumbai. Father to Colin, Clive and Carl. Father-in-law to Pamela, Flavia and Yati. Adored Papa to Sean, Franz, Joshua, Iylia, Najid, Nadirah and Christopher. Ex Air India Nairobi Kenya and Sydney Australia retired .
The funeral services will held at Saint John The Apostle Church, Waratah Parade, Naraweena,NSW 2099, Australia on Friday 14th Nov 2008 at 11:00am followed by a burial at Frenchs Forest Lawn Cemetery, Frenchs Forest, NSW 2086.

3rd May 2008, Canberra Australia: Sadly our member Joseph Norbert Noronha passed away in Canberra on Saturday 3 May, 2008. Joseph, known to family and friends as “NOBBY” is the dearly beloved husband of Yvette Noronha, father of Karl Noronha and brother to Polycarpo (dec), Eulalia, Tica and Lucas.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Nobby’s funeral service to be held on Thursday 8 May at Holy Family Church, 167 Budgen Avenue Gowrie, ACT. The service will commence at 12:30pm after which the burial and wake will take place.

8th December 2007, Sydney Australia: Sadly Ignatius ('Iggy' to all) Almeida a long standing member of GOA NSW Inc passed away peacefully on Saturday 8th Dec 2007 morning.
He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Myra and daughters Charlene and Leanne.
Funeral will be held at St Johns Church - Corner of Cordeaux & Lindsay Streets, Campbelltown on Wednesday 12th December 2007 at 10:30am. Viewing at 10:10am.Wake to follow at St Thomas more church hall (43 Accacia ave Ruse)the family will join everyone after they attend a short service at the crematorium.The family have requested no floral tributes please, offering of masses will be appreciated.

27th October 2007, Sydney, Australia: Sadly Mrs Philomena Azavedo member of the GOA NSW Inc. died on 27th October, 2007 at St. Vincent's hospital.
Phil is the wife of Tony Azavedo (ex.Karachi- Pakistan,Bahrain and Dubai), mother of Ashley / Jacqueline (Dubai) and loving grandmother of Christine and Kathryn.
Viewing - Simplicity Funerals,124-128 Elizabeth Drive, Liverpool on Sunday 4-6 pm or Monday in Church 10-10.45am.
The funeral details are as follows: Mass at St. Christopher's Church, Heathcote Road, Holsworthy on Monday, 5th November at 11.00 a.m. Phone number at the Church is 9825.1679.

Sadly Eliza (eldest daughter of Adelino (Adu) and Aurora Fernandes ex Nakuru, Kenya passed away on Friday, Oct 12, 2007 at home in the presence of the family - sisters Lorreta, Olivia, Olinda, Eva (GOA NSW founder Committee member), Lorna, mother Aurora, dad, Adu and niece Vanessa.
Eliza is the sister-in-law of Mark Fonseca, former GOA NSW committee member.
Funeral will be held on Monday 15th October at 10:30am in Toronto, Canada. RIP.

Mrs. Bella Furtado, died peacefully on Friday,the 5th of October 2007, after spending 6 weeks at Westmead Hospital.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter Jacinta Baptista / Paul Francis (members of the GOA NSW Inc.) and grandchildren Jason, Kevin and Kris.
The funeral service will be held at 10.00 am, on Tuesday, the 9th of October 2007, at St John of God Church, 2 Alice Street, Auburn NSW, 2144.

Mrs. Ida Sa-Cordeiro, born 4th Nov, 1916, and aged 92 years, died peacefully on Monday ,the 24th Sept 2007, after spending 3 weeks at Campbelltown Hospital. She will be sadly missed by her 2 children, 5 grand children and 4 great-grand- children.
The funeral service will be held at 11am, on Friday, the 28th Sept 07, at St John's Church, Cordeaux St., Campbelltown NSW, 2560.

The Passing away of Hilda Mary Thomas
Mrs Thomas passed away peacefully on July 26th 2007 at the age of 98 .
Beloved wife of the late DeSales Thomas, loving mother and mother-in-law of Silroy and Yvette, Gavin and Marilyn and Jeanette and adored grandmother of Ryan and Shannon.
A Requim Mass for the repose of the soul of Hilda will be celebrated at St Agatha's Catholic Church, corner of Boundary and Pennant Hills Road (enter via Trebor road) Pennant Hills on Tuesday July 31st 2007 commencing at 10.30 a.m.
Following the service the cortege will proceed to Macquarie Park cemetery for burial.
